If You Don’t Know Now You Know

A website that will save you from conmen and another that curates African news in a way you’ve never seen before. Sega Superstar speaks on the things you need to know.

1) You may or may not be aware that I’ve been contributing to the This Is Africa website. Check it out and do share stories from the online magazine, because there are some interesting reads. (Check out the Lifestyle section and the “WTF” stories in the Opinion section).

2) I’ve been thinking about what I could do to spice up this blog and I got it: I will start an “Ask Sega Superstar” section (kind of like an Agony Aunt magazine column)! Expect dry humor and and good ol’ Karachounyo East advice. If you’re not sure what that’s looks like, check out the blog in the next few weeks to find out. If you’d like to send a question, please write to: info@viewfinderss.com

3)  Speaking of questions, yesterday I asked quite a few because I’m working on my first profile for the blog (which I’m super duper excited about). The subject has contributed to the LA Times magazine and had O Magazine praise and re-tweet a blog post she wrote. This woman is the only person I know who has pranked Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Look out for that post.

4) Yesterday, I bumped into a friend who told me the deal he was getting for an S4 was too good to be true. He was right.  This site just saved him about $100 ( approximately KES 8000).  I witnessed as he found out, within minutes, the phone was fake! IMEI.INFO is your friend people, use it.

5)Have a great weekend and don’t forget to tell all your dark skinned friends to join the #50selfies50days movement.
