Strut It Afrika

The city’s cool kids all seem to be members of Nairobi’s edgiest modeling agency.

It’s like all the good looking people in Nairobi had a conference and decided to join Strut It Afrika. In December, I wrote an UP Magazine article on the Strut It Afrika modeling agency. I was interested to learn that many of the members are from the United States International University (USIU). My alma meter appears to have some of Nairobi’s most attractive and entrepreneurial people, including the founders: Malaika Nnyanzi and Moses Mukiibi.

When I learned Strut It Afrika was looking for more East African talent, I thought it best to let you know while drawing your attention to the fact I write articles when I’m not blogging or reading magazines. Now that you know, don’t forget to check out Strut It Afrika’s Facebook  page for audition details.

I just want to shout out the chocolate beauty, Aluel Ghai, because The Viewfinder is all about promoting black beauty and she most certainly is one. Aluel is the woman featured first in the gallery because I love that picture! What a mrembo (cutie).
